Tried to beat Mizdirection today, but Mike Smith gave her a great ride. She sure as fuck wasn't gonna close going a mile.

I'm alive in the P5 to Julio Canani's horse in the 5th for almost 20k. He tries to pull a fast one, and puts blinkers on the horse without listing it. The stewards force him to pull them off, and he takes his money off the horse and stiffs it.
It was sick to watch (Thank God it was only a $14 ticket), but his horse went in the gate as the 3/2 favorite and came out as the 5/2 or 3/2 second choice. Pedroza promptly stiffed the horse and that was all she wrote. Fuck him. Fuck Martin.
Same thing today. Tried to beat Red Tesla in the 5th. All the others paid a couple g's. MF'R.

Here's one I can admit to being (kinda) wrong about. The horse that beat me that day, Bright Thought, is now the World Record holder for 12 furlongs. Still mad about Julio's games with the blinkers, but I'm not sure I ever had a chance looking back.
Canani's horse, Saint Loup, returns today with Gomez up (and blinkers declared), but I doubt we can bet it straight. Late P4 single.
