Looking for Palace Malice and Orb.

The strongest non-individual horses in each major race. They're both major talents, and like always, we could see a breakout performance from any number of other players.

We're looking to fade Bobby, Lucky, Revolutionary and Code West. Maybe a couple others.

Well mixed results. Orb looked great (and he didn't have to be cranked), but Revolutionary also showed some will to win. He doesn't quit, and he travels well. Also, a great detail is that, baring a setback, the UAE Derby winner will have a spot.

Dreaming of Julia looked good. She can threaten Beholder and Lucky.

Bad weekend for Team 24, i thought.

Orb looked great (and looks as if he might enjoy 1 1/4 miles), but of course he had already qualified for the race.

Itsmyluckyday (listed in Pool One, of coure) gets in with his second-place finish. Hard to like him in the Derby, but whatever, he's in there.

Revolutionary and Mylute (both listed horses) are in after running 1-2 in the Louisiana Derby. One of Team 24's top prospects Palace Malice is now out, unless he wheels back in the Blue Grass (as John suggests) and does well there.

Orb was still best case scenario IMO. He's good, and wasn't cranked. Lucky is a POS, so whatever.

We get a Dubai spot filled. Not bad.

The Revolutionary race fucked us, but again, like Lucky, I don't see the Derby winner there. I bet Govenor Charlie can beat both of them on the square.

    NEXT ROUND:

Kentucky Derby: Santa Anita Derby, Wood Memorial next regional tests | Daily Racing Form

I'll let you figure out who we need DC, but it's gonna tough dodging Verrazano (in already) and Vyjack (also in?), so I don't know in the Wood. Always in a Tiz work?

I think the SA Derby is wide open, we don't want Hear the Ghost again, unless its at the expense of Flashback. Was Power Broker listed? I hear sneaky shit about him.

I think Normandy Invasion is your winner in the wood. Will screw team 24 but this horse looks razor sharp and might be a great price on Saturday
