MF'r. Really DC? I don't even wanna read about it. I (we?) need some help this weekend. Otherwise I've got an 8/5 future on Orb.

POWER BROKER is gonna show up big for us on Saturday DC. He might be 5-1 now, with Hear the Ghost out.

I'm not sure the Wood matters, sure we would like Elnaawi or Always in a Tiz, but if it comes Verrazano/Vyjack - they're both in already so whatever. Two more open spots. Palace Malice's spot.

Whats your take on these races anyways? I know you've got a Verrazano/ALL exacta.

I guess FREEDOM CHILD isn't hopeless either. He's been running (winning by 5 going 1 1/8) at GP, now ships back to a track where he finished 2 lengths clear of Revolutionary (going a 1 turn mile). Gets Lasix for the first time on Saturday, too. Expensive purchase has an outside chance. Verrazano looks tough, I'm not sure it matters who he's beat, because he's thrashed everyone.

I think Jay Privman is on the hook for jinxing this one. He had two full page articles about him in the west coast Form, one about Corey, one about the owners....

Well, he's 3-1 on the line. And I feel like Baffert likes him, don't know for fact.

This is a fact: Liaison earned a 105 Beyer in his winning return effort. Power Broker has been on level terms with or better than him in the AM.

None of that means anything, Beyer numbers and all, but for comparison Verrazano has a 105 Beyer.

    Just food for thought.

Flashback has prepped with maiden Del Mar Sunset.
Power Broker has prepped with older winner Liaison.
Super 99 will hose me. LOL.

Don't forget about that Baffert allowance winner who's going in the Arkansas Derby next week. But yeah, the pickin's are getting kinda slim for Team 24. Orb does look pretty good though (thanks goodness).

Truth be told, i'm rooting for a Verrazano/Team 24 exacta. But a Team 24 win would be nice also...

Right? The Wood certainly didn't do us any favors (but both horses were in already), it might have fucked us by getting Normandy Invasion in (maybe), because he'll keep going.

Lets watch this SA Derby, and by the way, the track is fucking packed today. Like BC Saturday packed.

We have to be doing better than we think. With Bobby, Violence, Delhomme, Capo Bastone (is he Bluegrass bound), He's Had Enough, Code West, Oxbow and Overanalyze all done - and 2 major preps left. We'll be ok. Knock on wood.

Apparently, and he reminds me of that Zito horse that got in trouble and flew for second in the Derby. Seems to run anywhere on anything.
