This up and coming NY bred is the real deal! He was going to be pointed to NY stakes races but Gary Contessa throws him into open company, and does so without hesitation. His last few works over a deep Bel tr track are beyond good. Connections want to win this race because they campaigned it's namesake, Trippi. There is alot of false speed entered in here, but the last furlong should separate the field and Contessa thinks Glowing Ember will keep coming when Whiskey Romeo and The Purple Egg start to back up. This is assuming that Sweet Jane Cibielli even gets the egg past pre-race exam---her reputation following a shady vet blocking thing at Tampa is still hanging over her head and the NYRA folks are going to watch her very carefully. 7/2 or maybe even 4-1 sounds about right. Going to the bank on this one!
