Who Knows,-Nobody, a lot of opinions, horse racing is hard to beat if you go to a casino & just bet red or black, you have a 50% chance of winning, I love horse racing but I'll always lose more than I win.

What about "Green"??? That's the casino edge.....

I think there are people who make a living by betting the ponies, I don't win either on gambling in general... I.e. casino, sports, horses, cards ect but I would say the ponies is by far the best of them all. But at the end of the day I have fun and enjoy the races no matter the monetary value involved but we all know the wins (the big ones) feel great, in my opinion better then any winning at the casino or sports game.

I was at Barnes and noble today and stumbled upon the horse books, they had the usual but anyone know any good books on horse racing not necessarily gambling ones?

I always liked "Betting Thoroughbreds" by Steve Davidowitz. Dave Litfin's books are pretty good too; i have a couple of those.

I've read about " Pittsburgh Phil" now he had the right approach to betting horses he would wait weeks on end for the right bet to come along. I wish I could do that , I have a lot of fun anyways, maybe someday I'll hit the Big One, you always have a chance.
