I had a nice day yesterday (partly due to matchups), but i was very close to having a much bigger day.

Mizdirection to win, nothing there.

Reneesgotzip to win @ 9/2, and an exacta box with Mizdirection. She was second by a half-length (in a dead-heat for second), and the exacta price got destroyed by having to share it with the other dead-heat horse.

Diamond Bachelor to win, nothing there.

Indy Point to win @ 8/1, and he ran third by less than a length.

Secret Circle to win ($7.00). Only winner of the day.

Declaration of War to win @ 6/1, and an exacta box with Mucho Macho Man. He ran third by a neck. No win, no exacta. Pretty brutal considering how well he ran. Would've been a pretty nice exacta, too. I did have a small supplemental win bet on MMM to make a little money on the race, but came close to crushing this one. Unreal.


All in all, an okay day but too many near-misses. Frustrating.

How did you guys do?

Had a 20$ ex with mmm over declaration of war. Had to play ft. Larned to win who I thought ran a hell of a race compared to where Moreno and dude finished. Hit the late pick 3 a few times. The fugue really blew it for me.

Decent the first day got murdered yesterday. Gave it all back and then some
. Had a big win wager on Za Approval ran a great race but not enough.

I had a really nice (for me) weekend. If GOD or Moving Desert would have won, it was lights out.
