The Birdstone/Literary Light colt in the article goes in Race 7 @ Gulfstream today. He worked a furlong in 10.1 at the sale (as shown in the accompanying video).

    I think Dilger is a former Pletcher assistant. Either way, he's very capable. Interesting, too, that this is the most expensive horse in the bunch. Looks like he may have missed a work in the middle of November (or a sneaky hidden PMM work). Worth a stab for sure.

    Another Pletcher asst., Michael McCarthy, is leaving TAP after around 12 years with him and going out to SoCal to start his own stable. "Whitey" as he is known, is going to be a good trainer!

    Great info JG. And DC, I think this horse is a runner, he galloped out really well after not being asked much IMO.

    The Dilger horse rolled at 35-1 today. Only had $5 to win.
