I mentioned last time out that i've long considered this guy a bona-fide stakes type, but he hasn't had much of a chance to prove it thus far, because he always ends up injuring himself and hitting the sidelines. Was highly competitive (at a huge price) vs. Grade 1 types in his only prior stakes try, and generally seems to improve in his second start off an extended break, which is the case today. And as well as he ran last time, that bodes well. As long as he's healthy (and there's no reason to doubt it today), he's a major player.
