Not too often you will see me hawking a race at SA, but this one could be big balloons?
Goes as race 7--Cal Cup Oaks, for restricted Cal breds 3 yo fillies going one mile on turf.
Aron Wellman is a very sharp horseman. Aron spotted a fillie who was dominating open races at PARX and he swooped in a made a private purchase. She goes out west and is one of the first to race for new trainer Michael McCarthy, who was TAP's main man for 11 years. One work over the weeds at SA going 4 in a quick 48 and she draws the 1 hole, so she will have to go and connections don't think her going a mile on the front end and winning is beyond her talents. Alonzo Quinonez is up and the price should be good, although I have yet to see a ml?
