$50k clm 4 & up 1 1/16 purse $45k

#1 BELLARMINE, 4-1
I've seen this one work twice in the mornings and he is ready to fire off a short rest! Owned by McPeek's Magdalena Partnership with wife Sue and Darby Dan, who bred Magna Graduate with one of those stamina Darby Dan mares by Alydar. One time stakes type was dropped into Clm $50k at CD in last and ran off at a short price. Moved to OP in Dec and has been brought along slowly--basically a short rest with improving works. McPeek new go-to jock, Shane Laviolette gets the call, assuming he gets back from Houston where he went last night and guided Frac Daddy to a 2nd place finish in the $100k Maxxim Stakes, runing behind runaway TAP winner Red Rifle. The presence of the Cody Autrey runner will keep the price right, but I'm thinking 3-1 is about right. Expect him to come out of the one-hole and establish a good position along the inside and save ground into the first turn, advance into striking position turning for home and move out in the stretch and pull away!

win/Place and exotic key 1--4/5/6
