Classy chestnut by Broken Vow brought $370k at OBS and went to Baffert. Broke her maiden first out on DelMar poly , then tried stakes at Santa Anita, where she faded against some good ones. Came back with shin problem and took time off At Ford family farm in Arkansas. Re-surfaced under the care of Ron Moquett where she was being pointed to 3yo Arkansas program, but she was not ready. Finally made it to the track at OP in mid march and set a blistering pace for two furlomgs when her saddle slipped and she threw a shoe. Ramon Vasquez was aboard and he pulled her up and she was distanced, but no word of the problems in the running lines?
Comes back today with Ricardo Santana, Jr. in the saddle, and he won't need a buzzer to get her out front and play catch me if you can!
