The "Lady Legends" race at Pimlico has gamblers in an outrage on twitter. I mean, it's true the old-woman on the horse in front stood up at the 1/16 pole and cost her horse the race... BUT who's fault is it if you're betting on a race with old women riding??? Really??? I get upset at bad rides a lot, but not when it's a 50 year old woman. If you bet a that race you deserved it.

    I knew that Dirty would comment on this story. I was in the car when this race ran, and the HRRT commentators were surmising that the horse was pulled up due to injury. After watching the replay, they determined that the jock just missed the finish line, then they went into detail how Pimlico has two finish lines and it is so misleading that the jocks room has to print and post signs telling the jocks where the finish line is for any given race. Somehow, I doubt that you have to tell most jocks where the finish line is! This is the last year that Pim is doing this ladies race, and that is a good thing!
