Hot Jock Shane Laviolette

Probably not many HRT readers who follow Prairie Meadows Race Track? The pools are very small and the payoffs sometimes are very short. But the quality of horses is not bad, and probably better than other mid-west tracks running now, such as Ellis, Indiana Downs, and Beltaire(Old River Downs).

Last night, Jockey Shane Laviolette had a very good night! On a 9 race program, he belted home 4 winners and 3 placed horses. Not too bad! He was at Oaklawn this past winter and was 1st or 2nd call for Kenny McPeek. He may be one to keep an eye on?

Speaking of McPeek, he has a 2yo firster running this Saturday at Ellis Named Pangburn, who is out of Congrats and has been training real well leading up to her first start. Word is she is a good one and brought a pretty good price($125k) at the sale.
