#4 Coral Beach (5/1 ml)
This gal was actually entered a couple of days ago as a "Main Track Only" horse in a 5 1/2 furlong turf race, and scratched out when the race stayed on the grass. Comes into this race off a very interesting pair of dirt workouts (sandwiching a turf drill that apparently didn't go too well), the most recent one coming with Kamarius, who was last seen winning a two-turn grass race by an impressive 6 lengths. Prior to that, Coral Beach had worked heads-up from the gate with Feathered, who ran second by a head (as a 3/5 post-time favorite) in a solid 1:10 2/5. Also like the fact that this is the longer half of an uncoupled entry for Pletcher (the other one being the 5/2 ml favorite, of course), so the price will hopefully remain decent.
