Dortmund 60/1 for the Derby

Just grabbed a Derby sheet @ the Wynn yesterday, and Dortmund (an impressive winner for Baffert last Sunday, who had previously been unlisted) is a predictable 60/1. Off a single maiden spring win in early November.
This is why i hate Derby futures these days. You see an impressive young 2yo (or even an early-season 3yo) that strikes your fancy, and you feel like maybe taking a gamble on him. But you can't, because even 6 months before Derby Day, there's no value on him. Pretty sad.
Also of note, the sheet is listing his "opening price" as 150/1. So, on the very first sheet that he appears on, he somehow has been dropped from 150/1 down to 60/1 before the sheet was ever printed? I call bullshit. The only was this could happen is if Avello started taking bets on this horse before the sheet came out, and knowing he operates these days, i would be totally shocked if he ever offered anyone 150/1 on this horse (not that he doesn't deserve to be that high, or even higher, this far ahead of the race and with no two-turn starts to his credit).
Btw, if you guys are interested in any other horses, give me a name and i'll let you know if they're on the sheet or not (and what their listed price is). Sheet dated November 8th.

And whatever you do, don't google candy cowboy. Not fucking cool.
LOL! Thanks for the warning, I might've done it otherwise.
Will check the price (and post) when i get home.
He's listed @ 225/1
Load up!
What kind of pedigree does Om have?
Om's om. The winner (by open lengths) of the key-est key race at Del Mar. Beat American pharaoh, 6 other winners, and a couple stakes winners.

Possible name change? Or maybe his name is just too short?
start at the 25 second mark..
Thanks for this. Interesting story, especially about working in company with the older stakes horse who came out of the drill to win, then Om wins @ 22/1. Good grief, where was i when that happened? Sigh...
Dortmund is now down to 20/1. Still hasn't even attempted two turns yet.
PS - Om is still unlisted @ the Wynn. I did however see him listed @ 175/1 at William Hill.
I still can't get his name to come up in the DRF or Equibase databases.

you have to put (ky) after his name for it to come up.
Look at that chart. He mollywopped American pharaoh, calculator, daddy dt, and iron fist. I think a couple other ran good races too.
Now there's a headline i never thought i'd see.
Btw, I saw him @ 10/1 to win the Derby earlier this week (William Hill)
Calculator wins back in a g3.
