Mott firster out of Xtra Heat

Mott has a first-timer named Xtra Spice @ Gulfstream today, and it's very interesting to note that her most recent workout (3 furlongs from the gate) came heads-up with Lea, who was last seen winning the Grade 1 Donn last year (and hasn't raced since).

Mott is pretty bad with firsters, and i found no other positive info on this gal (aside from the breeding, of course), so i'm passing. Mainly because Lea hasn't run in nearly a year and i have no idea what kind of shape he's in. Plus it was only 3 furlongs.

But just a friendly heads-up; interesting for sure.

    Ran a good second. Lea looked like a good thing getting up late.

    so wierd because I have seen them breed xtra heat just to elusive quality...I know darley has one and of course pimpernel for baffert is the same lines..
