This draw worked out really well for me, for the most part ....

AP is my single on top and I think he got the perfect post to pull a Big Brown ... I could not be happier with 18

Materiality and Carpe Diem were two top contenders I wanted to take a stand against. I just think Materiality has bounce written all over him with his lack of Foundation and coming off such a big race and Carpe Diem I just did not have a good feeling about him getting the distance . I did not like the way he finished up in the Blue Grass from a visual standpoint even though when you look at his running line on paper it looks impressive. Now with them drawing the 2 and 3 posts I can confidently take a stand against them.

Dortmund and Firing Line could not have drawn more perfect . They left no doubt they are both a must use underneath AP.

International Star and Far Right are my price horses. 12 seems like a really good spot for International Star and 20 I think is perfect for Far Right. Mike Smith likes to take his horses wide when making his big move and 20 will allow him to just drop back and pick the exact lane he wants to make his run.

The only dissapointment for me was Upstart drawing the 19. I was really high on him and was willing to overlook the training speed bump with the fever and missed work , but once you also add the 19 post to his list of negatives I am leaning towards leaving him off my ticket now.
