Today's Racing Digest has simplified the handicapping process through a number of different features. To simplify handicapping changes in class and to determine if a horse is moving up or down in class you will want to use the Race Class Levels. In the race below, you will want to compare the Race Level of today's race which is a 190 along with the race levels of each horse's past performances. As an example, Princess Violet last time out ran at a 195 Race Class Level and finished 1st. This means she has proven that she can run at this race level. Compare that with Macha who ran at a 150 RCL and came in 5th the last time out and we can see that Princess Violet has been proven at this class level whereas Macha hasn't.
