One More Night has done little wrong in three starts since Sharp tagged him for $15,000 at the Fair Grounds Feb 1 and Night should get a dream trip tracking the early leaders from the inside. He is put back up for sale, but the $50,000 tag suggests that the barn is still quite happy with their modest investment. Vigorous Titan crushed restricted $30,000 claimers when dropped in class April 29 and that win puts him right there. It can be tough to claim from Mike Maker, but Hartman is a capable claiming trainer and a sharp win over the strip is an obvious plus. He may have to duels with Gamblers Ghost, who was taken off the pace when second best under these conditions April 17. This will be comeback start #3 and his last two wins came in wire-to-wire fashion. Hes a first-time GELDING, too, and that may be enough to get him over the hunt. Lets make him the HF 15a alternative. Double Ours was overmatched vs. Grade 2 sprinters April 9, but was sharp in his first two starts of the year and was competitive with better here in the fall. He would be no surprise. Wagson is put up for sale after winning a $50,000 Stake at Lone Star in his first start off the claim for Calhoun. Hes run OK here and looms an off-pace threat. CLOSERS: Fastest in the stretch in recent races at or near this distance have been: Double Ours :23.3 Vigorous Titan :23.8
