Tiz Afleet tracked a hot pace and tired to 9th vs. straight Maiden turf routers May 9. He plots close off that one, he has a right to move forward now that he has turf experience and the drop in class can only help. Maybe ‘Afleet can graduate as the HF 15a. Number One just missed after setting the pace in a like event May 1. He plots on top and Ortiz Jr. takes over. Maybe he can make amends. Lucky Leroy Brown earned minor awards in two starts last year vs. straight Maiden turf routers. His barn can pop with a comebacker, he has likely matured since raced and he tries Maiden-Claimers for the first time. Watch the betting. Doc Curlin is out of a turf winning dam and he is related to a turf route winner. Afleet Skier is the first foal out of his turf winning dam.
