ANALYSIS: Embellish The Lace proved her big Maiden win Dec 13 was no fluke as she came back to destroy NW1 Optional Claimers at Pimlico June 4. She led all the way in that one, she tops the charting and she is by a strong mud sire. Ortiz Jr. is in the boot and we’ll give ‘Lace the HF 15a. Wonder Gal rallied for 3rd vs. this kind June 6. She has yet to win routing from four starts, but she makes her third start off the bench and she could be sitting on a top effort. Eskenformoney never got going after a poor break at this level at Churchill May 1. However, she was in good form prior to that and a clean break can only help. Munasara and Chide are both off NW1 Allowance route wins. Both are lightly-raced and seem to be improving with each start.
