#4 Sage Hall (12/1 ml)

This play is not for the faint of heart, because Mott was 0-for-58 (before yesterday) with first-time starters debuting at a mile or longer.

That being said, today's prospect recently outworked barnmate Site Read, and Site Read came out of that drill to win a similar race yesterday by 4+ lengths (in fast time) at odds of over 20/1.

Today's rider (Lezcano) was also aboard Site Read yesterday, btw.

    Damn, nice pick. Had the #3 to win just missed a nice 4/3 Exacta box though.
