ANALYSIS: Finalize is related to a turf route winner and he worked fast out of the gate July 24. He also shows a pair of local turf works, his barn does very well with Maiden-Claiming rookies and he is by a decent sire.Maybe Finalize will come out running as the HF 15a. Tuneintobow tried a turf sprint for the first time and held 2nd after setting the pace vs. $50,000 Maiden-Claimers at Monmouth July 19. He tops the charting and he makes his third start off the bench. Ackerman Road drops out of the straight Maiden ranks for the first time off his 5th on turf May 22. Castellano takes over and he plots well. Horsetailspeedster set the pace and tired to 3rd in his debut vs. straight Maiden dirt sprinters at Ellis Park July 10. He is related to three turf winners and this is probably his proper level on this circuit. Private Show has good lick, but he hasn’t shown much stick in three starts vs. straight Maidens on dirt. The blinkers go on today and maybe the surface switch will help. Reason To Believe is related to a dirt sprint winner and has worked at Laurel for his debut. CLOSERS: Fastest in the stretch in recent races at or near this distance have been: Tuneintobow :18.2 – Ackerman Road :18.3 – Tax Deduction :18.5

When a frontrunner also has one of the top three closing fractions in the Fractional Charting, they figure to be very dangerous. Turnintobow sets the first fraction of 21.9 which is tied for the fastest. He also has the last closing fraction of 18.2. This suggests he is not only fast early he is also fast late.
