ANALYSIS: Bold Print switched back to the dirt after two turf sprints and easily handled NY-bred straight Maiden sprinters July 3. She plots well off that one, she has tactical speed and her barn has been firing of late. Maybe Print can win right back as the HF 15a. Awesome News set the pace and held 2nd vs. this kind July 19. She tops the charting, Johnny V. returns the call and maybe she can make amends. Myfourchix returns to this level after her clunker in a $125k Stakes May 25. She was 2nd off the bench vs. this kind April 12 and she has finished in the Exacta in both sprints over this track. Alvarado rode her last year and she worked fast Aug 2. Bounce back candidate? Sonora set the pace and just missed at this level June 21. Castellano strings along and she has finished in the Exacta in five of her six dirt sprints. We wouldnt rule her out. Awesome News is fast early as he is in front at the first call in 21.7. He is also fast late as he has the fastest last fraction of 31.6. He tops the charting in a final time of 1:18.3 which is only one length below par time for the level and he looks like a top contender in this event.
