ANALYSIS: Unlock The Glory has shown good lick, but not much stick in his two starts as a winner vs. Allowance company. The blinkers go on today and he takes a big drop in class. Both changes could help him find more stick and Cancel rides very well for the Terranova II barn. Glory is the HF 15a. Whos Z Daddy has been knocking on the door at this level and he would top the charting off two of his three starts. He has tactical speed and maybe he has found a field he can beat. Limerick Lightning is back on dirt after his 8th vs. NW2L $40,000 turf sprinters July 12. He was 4th on dirt vs. NW2L $25,000 claimers May 17 and he could fit well at this level. Fit To Keep just missed vs. this kind July 24. He was no match for NY-bred NW1 Allowance foes Aug 2, but he could be a bounce back candidate with the return to this level. CLOSERS: Fastest in the stretch in recent races at or near this distance have been: Fit To Keep :25.5 Limerick Lightning :25.7
Whos Z Daddy plots on top in six lengths slower than par time for the level of 1:12.9. However, he also plots as the one to catch and a race with a lot of slow horses is often won by a frontrunner. If Daddy can set the pace he could prove tough to catch.
