ANALYSIS: Sharp Cookie tops the charting off her 3rd vs. $10,000 dirt routers July 17. She has won routing over this track, she makes her third start off the bench and she has good early speed. We’ll give ‘Cookie the HF 15a. Raja’s Rose beat similar dirt sprinters July 18 and was 6th vs. $6,250 turf routers Aug 6. She earned her diploma routing over this track April 16 and she figures to be up close throughout. Patti D’ Marie didn’t handle the turf June 4. She shows a pair of works since July 26, she was 2nd under these conditions May 15 and she has finished in the Exacta in four of her five routes over this track. Bounce back candidate? CLOSERS: Fastest in the stretch in recent races at or near this distance have been: Life No Parole :24.9 – Sharp Cookie :25.8 – Raja’s Rose :25.9

Sharp Cookie tops the charting at every call and in faster than par time for the level of 1:39.5. She looks like the one to beat if she can shake off Raja’s Rose early. If ‘Cookie starts to tire in the stretch, Life No Parole could catch her as she has the fastest last fraction of 24.9 and plots 2nd at the finish.
