ANALYSIS: Ack Naughty has finished in the Exacta in all four starts and is off a big win vs. NY-bred NW1 Allowance turf routers Aug 16. Ortiz Jr. is back to ride, she plots well and she makes her third start off the bench for a winning barn. ‘Naughty is the HF 15a. Capriana tracked the leaders and just missed in a like event Aug 10. She won her only other two starts and maybe she can make amends. Devious Maddy moved forward when 5th vs. this kind Aug 10. Her barn doesn’t win too often with turf routers, but this gal did win under Rosario Sept 24, 2014 and she also makes her third start off the bench. We’ll give ‘Maddy the HF 20.
CLOSERS: Fastest in the stretch in recent races at or near this distance have been: Capriana and Devious Maddy :23.1 – Ack Naughty :23.4

This field figures to be spread out up the backstretch with Take It Inside and Scat Away well in front at the second call per the Charting. Jules N Rome could get first run on the likely closers (Ack Naughty 23.4 and Capriana 23.1) at the third call as only the frontrunner is ahead of her and she goes on to win the paper chase in 1:37.1.
