ANALYSIS: Miss Ella rallied for 2nd in a like event Aug 3. She tops the charting, she could improve now that she has turf sprint experience and that race has produced two next-out winners. Rosario is back to ride and well give Ella the HF 15a. Sunnysammi has won both of her turf sprints at Laurel and she steps up with Stakes company today. She is quick from the blocks and plots close off her win Aug 15. Mejias is in to ride back and she rates a look to pull off the hat trick. Sister Sophia won both of her Belmont turf sprinters prior to her near miss vs. NY-bred NW2 Optional Claiming turf sprinters at Saratoga Aug 12. Her numbers are going the right way and the trainer stats are solid. Another move forward could make her a threat. Asia was 5th off the bench vs. NW2 Optional Claiming turf sprinters Aug 13. She won both of her turf sprints at Gulfstream earlier this year and her barn is one of the best around with turf sprinters. Look for her to be in striking range throughout. Only four lengths separate the top five finishers and Miss Ella plots in five lengths below par for the level. This could be an open affair as a result. Miss Ella does have the fastest last fraction of the top five while Sunnysammi could be the one to run down as she may be able to pounce on the early leaders entering the stretch.
