Songbird ran over a full second faster than Nyquist yesterday, roughly 1 1/2 hours later on the same card.

She looks developed... after her last win:

Also, she really looks like a 4yo, and will love more ground...

I'm actually kind of upset about this Songbird thing. I've long been looking forward to backing Tap To It in the Juvenile Fillies, but i'm not anxious to bet against Songbird. Not at all.

Will probably have to focus more on the head-to-head matchups...

Nice drill for Songbird yesterday, btw.. Big surprise.

    Dc,
did you catch the race Sunday from TOEWS ON ICE at SA?
He looked like a very good one!
Baffert 2yo coming into form as the 2yo season comes to an end. Look out KY Derby 2016!

Saw this one in the paddock... Needs to grow up quite a bit to be a good 3yo. Also, the field really looked bad. They were all small and undefined.

But yes, bang up race. The formulater stat now has Baffert as being 6 for his last 7 juvenile male stakes sprint races, when coming off a win. But an ROI way under $3.... So almost all around 2 or 3 to 5 even with the loser.
