Any truth to the rumor he died this morning after falling at Keenlenad this morning? Sad

    It' true, too bad for the connex. As you would suspect, the Blood-Horse site immediately filled up with comments from the usual types who claim that the Keeneland surface is dangerous. No truth to this at all. This time of year, there are several hundred horses stabled at Keeneland and although they have had approx. 3 fatal breakdowns over the past few weeks, given the large number of horses on-site, and given that the class of Keeneland horses is top-shelf, the fatal breakdowns get more attention than other deaths at less prestigious tracks. Nobody wants to see horses breaking down, but to blame the surface at Keeneland is not supported by any sound evidence.
