Goes as race 4
#10 THE GREAT WAR, 8-1
Word from clockers down at Palm Meadows is that this one can fly! 21 and 43 is in his wheelhouse. Should love the downhill 6 1/2 turf course? Not sure if anyone else in here can go with him or carry him too far out? If Kent shows up healthy he should be in perfect position to take these w2w? This is Wesley Ward's most expensive horse, cost 1 mill, and he doesn't screw around with stock owned by Tabor, et al. The Boyz think this is the best play of the opening day at the Great Race Place.
As usual, the opening day card at SA is loaded with great horses and great betting races!

Take a look @ Somethings Unusual's recent record down the hill. Four starts, and the worst he's done run third by a half-length. All four of those starts with today's rider (Van Dyke) in the irons, too.
Similar deal with Bench Warrant. Last three starts down the hill include two wins, and a close 4th behind Richard's Boy, who's a definite contender here.
Wide open race, and perhaps some boxcar payouts (involving some of the horses in this thread)?
