Uncontested puts in final drill for Southwest

Interesting colt here. He looked terrific in the Smarty Jones (over a sloppy track), and was recently flattered a bit by McCraken (was beaten a few lengths by him in the Kentucky Jockey Club).

    All the talk down here is on Petrov. One to look at is Silver Dust, who ran a big race at CD. Hence is a wild card but he is the one who showed tremendous athletic ability when he ducked in, lost the lead, and dug in to come back and win. This could be a very good edition of the Southwest?

    I know Steve Haskin is pretty high on Petrov. Obviously his last race can be forgiven, but Uncontested looks like the real deal to me. Big, fast, strong colt.

    I heard it might rain on Monday, also. Good luck beating him if that happens again...
