Big race on the Derby Trail today. Who ya got?

American Anthem for me. Comes in off a heads-up drill with older graded stakes winner Mor Spirit. Loved his guts and determination in the Sham Stakes also. Extremely game and talented colt here. Big-time Derby threat.

DC, I'm not a big believer in American Anthem at all. He'll have to prove me wrong today. I love the card at Oaklawn, it's the best wagering card on tap today. We see plenty of BOMBS on the card. She's a live one from Catman today, he's a single in all rolling exotics.

RACE 5 - #8 – What A Star – 5/2 – WP – This one ran huge 1st out and has been given time since that effort. But the work tab suggest this filly is ready to fire big today.

I'm not a fan of his Sham, but American Anthem's maiden race gives me hope. Rather see so all others though. GL Boys.

I like #5-- Untrapped he could be 4 &0 without trouble in his races- improves every race- can be right behind the speed &he has the speed too & has Ortiz now don't hurt.

Fucking Malagacy about to make this guy bettable. I'll fire at 3/2. Thought we were looking at a 3/5 shot here. Especially with Mor Spirit winning.....

Also Sonnetteer is better than 99-1.

He's actually low-key been my derby horse, but thats a story for another day.

Oaklawn Park R10 $2.00 Exacta Box
    1,3,6,7,10
    $40.00 $0.00 $570.20

I also bet a $100 on American whatever like a jackass.

Malagacy was all others in pool 2, Listed in pool 3. Soneteer always FIELD. Pick'n em up.

Petrov got jammed in traffic in the stretch. Ran the 2nd best race today in my opinion.

Sonneteer would have been one of those awesome bets if you were at the track with normal friends, and made them bet $5 across. Or if you were drinking in a sportsbook and bet him $200 w/p. Or a contest... I guess a billion to one shots are good for whatever.

So really, who's the Derby favorite, And don't McCracken me. And it obviously can't be a Pletcher.
