Hi there, I am in the process of developing my own analytical program, for the third time, and this time I am concerned about the accuracy of the data as reported to and collected from DRF formula files, and Equibase.
My concern is that the labels for the information change from pundit to pundit, from DRF to Equibase to Brohamer, to whatever.
Here is what I think would work for me, :yes:if it is available:
For the majority of tracks, and for each exception, I want to know the exact distance, in feet or furlongs, from the start of each race/distance to each point of call for which a time is submitted, and the format of the time . Is the time expressed in minutes, minutes and parts of minutes, or (preferably hundreths of seconds.)
I prefer not to use the term fractions, or splits, when obtaining the information because these terms seem to have multiple meanings, and working with them is driving me crazy
