Belmont Selection

My triple crown selections have been horrible so beware. Basically going against the favorite here. Im going to take a shot with:

#7 Tale Of Ekati Love the angle of horses running in the Kentucky Derby then skipping the preakness then coming back fresh in the Belmont. It has worked well in the past and hopefully it works today. I know there are several other horses in this race that are doing the same Anak Nakal (I don't think he is much of a horse never really showed much) Denis Of Cork (The 2nd choice in the race after the defection of Casino Drive. I don't like the way this horse is handled. Seems like the owners are calling all of the shots. He was scheduled to run in the Rebel back in March and owners (Not the Trainer) decided to skip it and give him a layoff. Same happens with the jockey, Borel was scheduled to ride him today but the owners decided they wanted Albarado instead). He did run a great race to finish 3rd in the derby and is a very nice horse but I'm taking a stand against him at this price. This horse reminds me a lot of a horse a few years back called Rock Hard Ten. Great horse, Great ability but they just didn't know how to handle the horse. Back to the pick Tale Of Ekati. Tagg gave him two 6 furlong works over the Belmont track the last few weeks. He didn't like the first one and sent the horse back out there for the 2nd one and he responded. Gotta love a trainer who trains his horses at 6 furlongs instead of 4 and 5 furlongs for the mile and a half race. This horse also ran a nice derby as he was closing coming around the far turn but went flat. The fact he is 2 for 2 over this track, Tagg is a top trainer, and the horse should have no problem with the distance I think he is a good play at 15-1. It's going to be tough to beat BB but with all of these quarter crack issues coming up after running 2 races in 3 weeks and having to come back 3 weeks later and run a mile and a half. Hmmmm he could be beat today and I think this is the horse to beat him.
