Q: What is the lowest number of horses in a race that u can place a SHOW bet?

    Also if you have a horse #1, and #1A, is that 2 horses in the race or is one a substitute. I thought it was a sub, but in one of my races they BOTH ran. Don't know who ran them, they were both listed under the Same jockey, SAT 19, Bemont, race 9.

    When you have #1and 1A you get them both as one betting entry. Not sure about the show thing. Never bet show bets.

    and the entry is 1 bet.......if they run 1-1a.....should still get only 1 pay-off
    exacta 1-1a-3.....the pay-off is 1-3.....you can't bet a 1-1 exacta...

    thanks 4 the info. You sound like u don't bet on 1 / 1a horses. But seems to me you get to shots for your horse to win and only need to place one bet. buy one get one free?
