from Bloodhorse:
Dual classic winner Big Brown zipped six furlongs in 1:10 4/5 at Aqueduct July 26 under exercise rider Michelle Nevin.
The son of Boundary went the first half-mile in :46 and change and was timed in :58 3/5 for five-eighths of a mile, according to Michael Iavarone, owner of IEAH Stables. He galloped out seven furlongs in 1:24 1/5.
I spoke to Michelle and she said he worked unbelievable, the best work hes ever had, Iavarone said. She couldnt get him to pull up. It was more impressive because he worked by himself.
The colt, who won the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) and Preakness (gr. I) before being pulled up in the Belmont Stakes (gr. I), is being pointed toward the Haskell Invitational (gr. I) at Monmouth Park Aug. 3.
