Race 6 - #2 Squallcreek (8-1) Is making his return to Socal today for Steven Miyadi, who wins his share of races up north. Look for him to forwardly placed in race that does not have much speed on paper. He has shown the ability to compete down here in southern California and we have seen many shippers come south and be victorious on the turf.
Race 7 - #8 Evita Argentina (8-1) She won convincingly first out for trainer John Saddler, which is rare for him. She has trained exceptionally since that race and the 6 1/2 should be perfect for her today. She has plenty of bottom to her as she has had two 6 furlong drills. One was prior to her first race and the other was a bullet drill on 7/30 her last work for today's race. This race looks to have enough pace in it to set up her late kick so look for her to be flying late under jockey Tyler Baze.
