Race 5 - #7 Lordgivemealift (6-1) Speedster is undefeated in Idaho and makes his California debut for Jeff Mullins. Has defeated winners twice in Idaho and is working well coming into today's race. He is the speed of the field and should be able to clear under jockey Tyler Baze, who is good on the front end. This guy looks to be tough today.
Race 9 - #5 Saucey Evening (5-1) She got a feel for the track opening week and she is the best closer in today's race. She was getting in her last race and if she is able to run straight she will be tough to deny under jockey Garrett Gomez.
Race 10 - #4 Khsar Ghilane (8-1) This guy meets a field without much early pace in it and he should be able to clear. He has always shown ability in the mornings and has been respected at the windows in all 3 of his outings. Bobby Frankel has yet to have a winner at Del Mat, but I have a feeling he is going to have multiple winners today.
