Race 8 - #9 Seven Secrets (10-1) Was claimed last out by Jack Carava, who wins at a 26% when claiming a horse and then moving him to the turf. Carava has put a couple of nice works into him and his barn has been on a bit of roll the last couple of weeks at Del Mar. He will be in the race early and he should turn in a much improved effort for his new connections.
Race 9 - # 11 Believe in Hope (9/2) This similarities that former Del Mar Futurity winner Delcan's Moon and this colt have are scary. They both won first out going 5.5 furlongs for trainer Ron Ellis, one 13-1 the other 14-1, they both had a 7 furlong work going into the 7 furlong Futurity and they both were able to win from an inside post draw first out. Ron Ellis is probably one of the most patient trainers we have in Southern California and he thinks this guy is ready for the jump into a graded stakes off the maiden victory than he is ready.
Race 10 - #12 Stuttgart (8-1) This filly was claimed last out by trainer John Saddler and he has had her under his care for over a month. He has put 5 solid works into her and now puts into a spot where she can't be claimed. Look for her to put a good account of herself for her new connections.
