Well, so much for that. I was waiting to see the odds on Race 2, so perhaps i could post #1 Livia La Vida Loca (8/5 ml). She's avery strong favorite here, but unfortunately she opened up @ 2/5. If she drifts up to 6/5 or so at post-time, she's probably worth a play. I wouldn't count on it, though.
Regarding her credentials, she drops out of the CTBA Stakes, which had already produced the runaway winner Comical Vacation. In fact, LLVL had broken out and bumped that one pretty hard at the gate, resulting in her disqualifaction from third. LLVL recovered well from the bumping incident, and was positioned close up behind the pace before getting shufled back approaching the turn, She came widest of all into the stretch, and was matching strides with the bona-fide stakes filly Treadmill through the latter portion of the race. Meets a much easier field here on the drop, and should be very tough to handle. Let's just hope she drifts upward...
