Race 1- 6 Diva's Gold- Dominguez is up for Michael Maker. Good combo, horse ran 2nd last out in an allowance. Horse is running 2nd off the layoff, posted an 84 beyer rating after a stumbled break. The extra 70 yards will help, as horse can drive.
Race 2- 2 Valid Sum / 2B Now Act- Horses are both making their first time start form Kiaran McLaughlin. McLaughlin is hot last 2 weeks, 9-4-0-2 Over that time. Valid sum has a GREAT pedigree. Horse will be wearing Blinkers as a first time starter. Thats always a nice little angle.
Race 3- 1 The Truffle Man- 4 Charging Hero will tough to beat, but going with Dominguez here. Dominguez is Excellent at this distance. Like Jacobson's horses. Especially with Dominguez in the irons.
Race 4- 2 R Fast Favorite- CC Lopez is in the irons. He is the 6F king. Rides for Galluscio, which has been doing very well lately. 3 and 4 races back, horse was running in 20 and 25 claimers. Dropped to win at 7500 Claimer. Came back last out to take a huge lead at 1 mile, drops back down to 6F here. Last 2 races at 6F, horse ran 95 Beyers on this track, Setting an eased pace both times.
Race 5- 9 Courting Elaine- Maragh is up for Levine. This is a very good combo. Horse is racing 3rd off the Layoff, will improve off last, angled in turn, and still posted a 73 beyer. The race before was a good race, and horse posted a field-best 83 beyer. With a good trip, horse will be very tough to beat.
Race 6- 4 Hooked Up- Going with CC Lopez at the good ole 6F again. Galluscio trained. Horse drops in class, 68 Beyer last out with a tired, eased trip. Thats already field best, and horse should improve off that!
Race 7- 9 Bedofrd Arch- I don't normally play Fragoso, but I like the beyer last out. Posted an 83 off a wide trip. Has faced much tougher, running 3rd last out against better. Contessa trained. Looks like a mudder. Hoping for a good race.
Race 8- 8 Tis Cactus Nellie- Going with Dominguez and Maker again at 6F. They both love this distance. There are some tough horses in this field, but horse can compete. Going strictly on the distance specialists.
Race 9- 1 Baby Thinker / 1A Run From Hell- Hoping this combo can get it done. Horses both have potential, and will likely move up vs much tougher after they break their maidens.
