Morning line for the Arkansas Derby

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) — Old Fashioned has been made the 9-5 morning-line favorite for the Arkansas Derby, a final prep race before the Kentucky Derby on May 2.

Old Fashioned lost for the first time last month in the Rebel Stakes at Oaklawn Park, beaten by 57-1 long shot Win Willy. Old Fashioned is among the top Kentucky Derby contenders, and is trained by Larry Jones.

A field of 10 3-year-olds has been entered for Saturday's 1 1/8-mile Arkansas Derby. Old Fashioned will leave from the No. 8 post.

The field from the rail out is: Captain Cherokee (20-1), Papa Clem (6-1), Flat Out (10-1), Poltergeist (20-1), Ziegfeld (12-1), Flying Private (6-1), Summer Bird (30-1), Old Fashioned (9-5), Win Willy (7-2) and Danger to Society (6-1).

    Remember Danger to Society scratched off last race to enter the Ark Derby. Maybe the feel his purse chances are better here.

    Win Willy from 57-1 to 7/2, lol!!!! Papa Clem at 6-1 or higher is worth a play in my book, 58b this week is signs of fresh horse.
