I am new here and thought i would get in on the fun. whats everyones plans for the big day sat???
well my day will start at about 8 AM three of my buddies are headed to our local track about 20-30 min away) Evangeline Downs to place our wagers for the day. then we are headed back to my house to join 10-15 of our close friends to enjoy racing and a few cold ones. everyone also puts up a few bucks each race and picks horses out of hats (great way to get people involved who arent a big horse racing fans). We are also smoking a Boston butt on the pit for four hours or so, and will have many other delicious cajun cuisine (boudin,cracklin,etc.) any other ideas for us to do through out the day?
