Everyone seems to have an idea about the Derby weekend races. Here is one of mine
Derby Double

In the Oaks
#5 Justwhistledixie
#6 Rachel Alexandra

with
In the Derby
#6 Friesan Fire
#7 Papa Clem

    If you're playing the Oaks/Derby double, and using Rachel Alexandra, i think you're better off singling her.

    Reason being, i think it's doubtful that the double from Rachel will pay more than twice the Derby win price. So by doubling your wager there (by including Justwhistledixie), all value is gone should Rachel Alexandra win the race. The $4 Derby win price would likely pay more than the $2 double.

    We'll know more as the race approaches and they start showing those payoffs, but that's the way i see it right now.

    Its a straight ........RA with Dunkirk...... I think it pays 20
