Does there seem to be an advantage of betting one track vs another?
Proximity? Class of horses?

This is my summer school---between bball & football.

thanks

I do think it's best to concentrate on a particular track or circuit. Not because one track is necessarily better than another, but if you concentrate on one racetrack then you'll become more familiar with the trainers, such as what kind of races they perform best in, what training patterns they might use, and which jockeys they tend to use on their live monts.

Perhaps more importantly, you'll become familiar with the horse population, and will have a better idea of what to expect out of each animal. There was a time many years ago when i was so familar with the horses on the SoCal circuit, i could often handicap the race from memory just by looking at the entry sheet. I also had a very good idea of how fast each particular group of animals should run, so i could determine how fast or slow the track was running based on those results.
