This colt is starting to grow on me he seems to have inherited Affirmed and his daddy's grit and will to win. I love the way he put on that final burst of speed in the closing yard to put his neck in front. He doesn't do blowout wins, but he does what he has to do in order to win. One thing that will aid him in the future that worked against his daddy, is Backtalk has the ability to rate. If this colt proves to be even half as good a Smarty was he'll be one tough horse next year.
