Word of warning, though. The course is listed as SOFT again. This guy can't catch a break with the weather.

The forecast today is sunny and clear, plus it appears to have been sunny and clear yesterday also. Hoping that the course will dry out to a large degree. They must have gotten a ton of rain earlier in the week...

It was pretty obvious that he just didn't like the surface last time. I mean, okay if he loses, but he couldn't have run THAT bad without some kind of legitmate excuse. And of course the good thing about him running so poorly is that was that he was listed @ 15/1 again. I was more than a little worried about the surface today when o saw that it came up soft again, but the sun was out all day today (and yesterday too, I think), so it probably was a very different surface from what he ran on last time. And at 8/1, he was certainly worth the benefit of the doubt.

For what it's worth, if he had run poorly again today, I still would've been willing to back him next time on any kind if firm surface. Assuming he ever gets one, LOL.
