Keep an eye out for this filly when summer rolls around...

from Bloodhorse:

Fillies were the standouts Feb. 26 during the under tack show for the Fasig-Tipton Florida sale of 2-year-olds in training at Calder Casino and Race Course in South Florida.

A daughter of Sky Mesa turned in the fastest quarter-mile work, covering the distance in :21 2/5. Consigned by Off The Hook, agent, the bay juvenile is the second foal out of the 7-year-old unraced Saint Ballado mare Saintly Magic, who is a half-sister to grade III winner Magical Forest (by Forest Camp). Off the Hook, agent, purchased the filly for $80,000 from Dapple Stud, agent, at the 2009 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July select yearling auction.

Four females set the pace at an eighth of a mile as each stopped the clock in :10 1/5. They were a Sharp Humor – Secret Hills filly and a Yes It's True – Val Marie filly, both consigned by Scanlon Training Center, agent; a Dixie Union – Icy Demeanor filly, consigned by W.D. North Thoroughbreds, agent; and an Awesome Again – Stop the Lights filly, consigned by Harris Training Center, agent.

The Fasig-Tipton Florida auction is scheduled for March 2 at Calder and will begin at 11 a.m. EST.

Btw, an interesting side note about the sale. A small handful of horses worked on TURF at the under-tack show. I've been following these sales a long time, and i don't ever remember seeing that before.
