bet $200 on escanderya in the derby early book, if he stays sound not a horse in the country will beat him, pay for your summer vacation, if you loose oh well only $200, i bet $600 got 8-1

    8/1 is a very short price to take on any horse this far out from the race, but he did look great in the Fountain of Youth, and he figures pretty much set on graded earnings, so you probably won't have to worry about that. Pletcher's record in the Derby isn't real great, however. Might not mean anything, then again it might.

    any horse less than 10-1 is a sucker bet.even if he wins the florida derby he'll be 3,4-1 in the derby double your wager to make the same and take out the chance he won,t start.if he loses the florida derby he'll be 8-1 or more anyway.
